Donate
Contributions from our generous supporters help to further the initiatives of Maasai Honey. Specifically, donations are used to sponsor our training beneficiaries, providing both beekeeping education and equipment to residents of rural villages. We particularly aim to support women faced with challenging life circumstances. Participating in a Maasai Honey training gives beneficiaries the opportunity to earn an income through sustainable beekeeping!
Maasai Honey is a registered non-profit in the USA; all donations to Maasai Honey are tax deductible, as allowed by United States law.

Benefits of donating
Maasai Honey is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization, under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by United States law.
Your contribution will not only benefit Maasai Honey, but also the overall economy of a growing village within a developing nation.
The impact
Since beginning our training program in 2021, we are proud to have conducted 8 two-week trainings, reaching over 120 beneficiaries, across 3 villages in Tanzania!
Trainees learn about all aspects of sustainable beekeeping including apiary selection, honeybee health, hive management, plus honey harvesting and processing.
Not only do trainees take part in a valuable 2-week course, they are also supported through continued follow-ups and advice from our expert local beekeeping instructors.
Once their hives yield honey, our partner businesses buy honey from the beekeepers at a fair market price, allowing beneficiaries to develop their skills into a sustainable business. For many of our beneficiaries, beekeeping and honey production has become their main form of income, supporting families and communities in rural Tanzanian villages.
Your donation can help more people to benefit from beekeeping!
